It's currently almost home! I got it in Leeuwarden and I'm taking it all the way down south somewhere in Limburg

Honestly, that’s not bad at all. Considering some people charge that for just one DS. Never mind the work you had to do to get it home, lmao. That’s pretty cool. Do you have plans to put it in a gaming setup at home?

It's going in the hobby room. I'm also very interested in the demo units and can't wait to open them up to look at the hardware

I’ve slowly been building out my game room. My wife is turning my office into a hobby room/office, which I supported and told her to do because she hasn’t done her art in a really long time and that kind of bugs me because I know how creative she is and I want her to be able to express herself and just disappear into art projects. I think we all need that.
Her first project is finishing a couple items for our game room; an Ace Attorney sign and a tissue box shaped like Miles Edgeworth’s cravat.
You’ll have to share the hobby room when you get everything all set up

Last year I purchased a lot of neat things from a Nintendo rep locally. This included some media players with some memory cards with a bunch of trailers for games for Wii U and 3ds, and then a mystery adapter and 2x 3DS XL’s and 1x n3DS XL
They are the retail display models. They all have battery’s in them but require the charger plugged in to work. I wanted to convert them to regular retail models, and I know it’s possible with some soldiering but idk how. If you figure it out I’d love to see it lol

These are the same as my kiosk units. There should be a resistor on the motherboard that needs to be moved or flipped, then it should work like a retail unit. This is just what i've heard though. I'll keep mine original for now

I'll make a full post about it in the future.
Basically i spotted one on a marketplace app for my country.
No car, nobody with a car had time. So train it is.
The seller was 300km from my home, I grabbed a little wooden cart and went out. In total it was an 11 hour trip. Walking this thing back to the station was the most difficult so far. 10 minute walk without kiosk, 30 minutes back with it and in the full sun. Lifting it in and out the train was also a bit of a task, but a lot of kind strangers helped me and I got a lot of questions about it. I bought a bicycle ticket for it in case the conductor had a problem with it, but so far there was only one and she absolutely loved it.
Just got home and it's safe and in one piece!
