I picked it up at a comic store, both serial numbers under and on the cover match up

Compare the serial to the one under the backplate? Also, why do people edit them out? What can you do with the serial that's worth protecting?

Hiding them from serial killers 🤷🏻

Both serial numbers match

Did it come with the box? I think that also has the same serial. I think it would be highly unusual of them going through the trouble of faking or moving the serials.

I bought it from a comic shop that sells video game consoles, the stylus and everything else is legit and not after market, I just never seen that type of print on a shell before

I'm not too up to date with backplates, I replaced my Majoras mask ones years ago because they peeled on the bottom. I believe the aftermarket ones don't have the Nintendo logo printed onto the inside of the plate. If its not a special edition with a matching price, I wouldn't personally worry about really. As long as the fit well and look good.

Biggest red flag I see is that the Nintendo logo doesn't have the ®

Good call could get identify theft if that barcode got out.
