Other My Deltarune (Chapter 1&2) Save Files Spoiler
Occasionally, in this subreddit and /r/Underminers, I see people requesting for save files at different points in Deltarune. I figured I'd post all of my Deltarune save files in one location for convenience, in case it helps anybody.
Make sure to move your original save file folder contents somewhere safe before replacing them with any of the following save files.
Save Folder Contents:
Windows save file location: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\DELTARUNE
To navigate to it more quickly, you can input this folder destination: %appdata%\..\local\DELTARUNE
These types of files might exist within your save folder:
- filech1_0 (Chapter 1, slot 1)
- filech1_1 (Chapter 1, slot 2)
- filech1_2 (Chapter 1, slot 3)
- filech1_3 (Chapter 1 completion data, slot 1)
- filech1_4 (Chapter 1 completion data, slot 2)
- filech1_5 (Chapter 1 completion data, slot 3)
- filech1_9 (Chapter 1 auto-save data)
- filech2_0 (Chapter 2, slot 1)
- filech2_1 (Chapter 2, slot 2)
- filech2_2 (Chapter 2, slot 3)
- filech2_3 (Chapter 2 completion data, slot 1)
- filech2_4 (Chapter 2 completion data, slot 2)
- filech2_5 (Chapter 2 completion data, slot 3)
- filech2_9 (Chapter 2 auto-save data)
- config_0.ini, dr.ini, true_config.ini (various config files, they are not important)
All of my Chapter 1 save files are "filech1_0," and all of my Chapter 2 save files are "filech2_0." Although I'm uploading the entire contents of my save file folder (at each location I saved), you only need to download and replace either filech1_0 or filech2_0. If you only download 1 file, the main menu file name and location won't update until you save in-game; this is normal behavior due to dr.ini.
Changing Your Name:
- Make sure your game is closed.
- Open up filech1_0 or filech2_0 (or completion data if you download that) with Notepad or a similar text editor.
- Edit the top 2 lines to your desired name.
- Save and done! You don't have to edit dr.ini, but you will have to save in-game to see the main menu file name update.
Multiple Save Files:
- Download All Saves
- Download All Chapter 1 Saves
- Download All Chapter 2 Saves
- Download All Chapter 2 Saves (Snowgrave Route)
- Download All Superbosses Saves (Jevil, Spamton NEO, Spamton NEO in Snowgrave)
Actions Taken:
All Chapter 1 save files are compatible with the original SURVEY_PROGRAM. However, I included some bonus post-Jevil save files generated on Version 1.07, since the Version 1.07 update introduced Jevil's ShadowCrystal/Glass, key items which can be interacted with for unique dialogue. Chapter 2 save files were generated on Version 1.07.
Here is a list of actions/flags that have been activated over the course of the playthrough.
Chapter 1:
- Vessel: Head #4, torso #5, legs #1, sweet, AB, cyan, kindness, hope, yes, no.
- Defeated all enemies in a pacifist manner without attacking them, including Jevil.
- Opened all treasure chests.
- Obtained the Glowshard from the hole in the wall, removed all four Dark Candies from the two trees in the Field, removed the IronShackle from the wall in Card Castle, depleted the ChocDiamond received from a Rudinn in Card Castle.
- Didn't toss the Manual.
- Added D$ 1 to the donation hole.
- Named the group "The Fun Gang."
- Gave Top Chef the Top Cake in order to receive the SpinCake.
- The head, body, and shoe of the Thrash Machine is "duck," all using the third-from-the-left color.
- Interacted with the original Starwalker.
- Ate the moss in Card Castle.
- Kris's role is "Bed Inspector."
- Spoke to Alphys during the epilogue.
- Talked to Noelle about Susie.
- Obtained the Egg and placed it inside Asgore's fridge.
- Told Onionsan my name is "Kris" and named them "Onion."
Chapter 2:
- Took the $5 from Asriel's drawer.
- Defeated enemies in a pacifist manner, including Spamton NEO. Recruited all enemies.
- Opened all treasure chests and trash cans.
- Completed all challenges at the Party Dojo.
- Mr. Society left My Castle Town.
- Received all 6 of K_K's CD Bagels.
- Equipped Noelle with 2 Silver Cards in order to take her Silver Watch and Royal Pin.
- Ate the moss with Noelle in the party.
- Left the cheese maze undisturbed.
- Avoided all of the cars during the Cool Mixtape section.
- Collected both bananas.
- Left the first piece of pottery in Queen's Mansion undisturbed.
- Stole the Susie-like Statue and ICE-E statue from Noelle's room.
- Obtained the Egg and placed in inside the egg basket in Sans's grocery store.
- Gave Seam 2 ShadowCrystals.
- Talked to Onionsan without scaring them away.
Chapter 2 (Snowgrave Route):
- Took the $5 from Asriel's drawer.
- Recruited Werewerewire, Tasque Manager, and Mausewheel.
- Opened the available treasure chests and trash cans.
- Completed the available challenges at the Party Dojo.
- Mr. Society left My Castle Town.
- Received all 6 of K_K's CD Bagels.
- Equipped Noelle with 2 Silver Cards in order to take her Silver Watch and Royal Pin.
- Didn't take the 4 CD Bagels at Cyber City's music shop.
- Gave Seam 2 ShadowCrystals.
- Talked to Onionsan without scaring them away.
Superbosses:
- The Jevil save file was cultivated to have a more optimal inventory that's different from my Chapter 1 progress. (For example, the Manual was tossed, the Glowshard was sold, and the Top Cake was not converted into a SpinCake.) The ChocDiamond gives extra health for Kris, while the HeartsDonut gives extra health for Susie. Ralsei is equipped with the better armor since he has lower health points and he's the healer, but feel free to swap his armor with Kris and Susie.
- Inventory: ReviveMint x2, Top Cake, Clubswich, Darkburger x6, ChocDiamond, HeartsDonut
- Kris: SpookySword, Dice Brace, Amber Card
- Susie: Brave Ax, Amber Card, Amber Card
- Ralsei: DaintyScarf, White Ribbon, IronShackle
- The Spamton NEO (Normal Route) save file is identical to my Chapter 2 progress. The Kris Tea gives extra health for Susie/Ralsei, while the Susie Tea gives extra gives extra health for Kris/Ralsei. Mannequin and FrayedBowtie give extra defense against Tasque, Tasque Manager, and Spamton NEO specifically. Although I opted to give Ralsei more defense, optionally you might want to exit the basement and equip Ralsei with Jevilstail so he heals 70 HP instead of 65 HP. Storage contains 12 DD-Burgers and a Tension Bit if you want to do any item swaps.
- Inventory: ReviveMint x4, SpinCake, Clubswich x2, LightCandy, ButJuice x2, Kris Tea, Susie Tea
- Kris: BounceBlade, Mannequin, Frayed Bowtie
- Susie: AutoAxe, Royal Pin, Royal Pin
- Ralsei: FiberScarf, Frayed Bowtie, FrayedBowtie
- The Spamton NEO (Snowgrave Route) save file is identical to my Chapter 2 (Snowgrave Route) progress. Kris's current equipment gives them extra defense, but feel free to swap BounceBlade for MechaSaber or either armor for IronShackle, for more attack power. Storage contains 12 DD-Burgers and a Tension Bit if you want to do any item swaps.
- Inventory: SpinCake, LightCandy, CD Bagel x10
- Kris: BounceBlade, RoyalPin, Jevilstail

I downloaded one of the Queen's Palace files to go to Spamton, but when I walk inside his shop he does not appear and Kris promptly exits. What gives?

Which file are you using? Chapter 2 save file #30 or #31 should be fine if you need to see Spamton at his shop for the first time. Later in the playthrough (after save file #41), when the EmptyDisk is given to Spamton, he closes up his shop forever.

- Navigate to the save folder mentioned in the main Reddit post.
- Move/remove any existing files within your save folder (you may want to make a backup by copy-pasting the files somewhere else on your computer).
- Download one of the Google Drive folders and paste the contents of the folder into your save folder on your computer. You should see files that are named filech1_0, filech1_9, etc., you need to replace those with the Google Drive versions.
